Searched High

Searched low

Then had a wee lie down.

Couldn't find any trace of a thread for this exhibition............. it is not even listed on the calender as an event.

I have no connection other than as a paying punter for many years but I hope this "wee prod" (insert Glasgow Rangers joke here)may prompt someone to post a link to the Exhibition Web site.

So I will start by saying "I will be there on the Friday Afternoon - possibly again on Sunday.

Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre Glsagow (SECC)

Friday 26th February (PM) and two full day Saturday and Sunday. 50+ Layouts and good trade support.

So That's me going - now we just need another 17,999 as usual.

I'll be going on the Friday, probably all day. Just a note for anyone planning to go late Friday afternoon and stay till late, the show closes at 6 o'clock on Friday, not 8 o'clock as previous years. Don't get caught out!

I've just put it in the calendar, I would have done earlier but having been up to my eyes in it at work recently haven't had a chance!

I'll be there both with our club layout "Glen Stewart" and in my role as guide editor for the show.

If anyone has any questions about the show just ask and I'll try to help.

See you there!

Craig

I shall also visit the show.

I'm planning on coming to Scotland for the now semi-traditional Winter Work Week on the Swindon DMU at Bo'ness with "Sc59401" with the Glasgow show to round off the week. (Feel free to join us for a day or two at Bo'ness if you're off work, Craig).

The airport security people are normally very interested on the oddly shaped contents of my luggage after my annual shopping session at Model Rail. I guess this year there will be no different.

Thanks for that Jim. I would have indeed got caught out . It has become my custom to go to the show after work on the Friday for an initial nosey and capture any bargains prior to the rush on Saturday. So I thank you very much indeed. Now I womder if I can convince my boss I should have the day off on Friday?

Def one of the highlights of the year and remains the biggest and best show in Scotland. I've been attending since 1968. Ouch I feel old!

Never been before due to the distance but will be there this year with 'Harton Gill'

Cheers

Dave

I haven't seen anything mentioning Harton Gill appearing at the show?

Thinking of going on the Sunday but now it will be Friday or

Saturday found out something happening on Sunday at Ibrox.

John

Rangers are at home to Celtic on the Sunday which will probably be a 12:30 kick off, the football traffic doesn't really start to get busy until around an hour and a half before kick off and will be clear around an hour after full time.

Cheers

Craig,

I suspect the website is not up to date. Dagworth will be there, but it's not listed.

Regards, Michel

Michel,

I'm the showguide editor, I've just finished the guide details and it's now off for production and printing, Harton Gill isn't on the list.

Craig,

There's certainly some confusion in the chain somewhere. Lets wait and see who's right and who possibly gets disappointed maybe.
