Mike W
I'm just reading Diesels In The Duchy by John Vaughan at the moment - there are a few shots of trains with mostly tented hoods and 1 or 2 flat sheeted hoods in it, circa 1980/81.

Thanks Mike, That is interesting, so I might just be able to get away with the flat sheeted ones.
Paddy
Yup they're definitely NEM pockets. I've just done some snaps for the mag review; I'm particularly impressed with the hoods and tarps; the 4mm ones are crying out for similar treatment. Hi Andy, Great photos - could you tell me what camera you use? Kind regards Paddy
RMweb Premium Crepello Posted April 20, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 20, 2014 I've brush-painted the couplings with Precision Frame Dirt and they do become less conspicuous. I've also superglued Dapol tail lamps on the ends of the rake; they look nicely to scale (pack 2A-001-001).
