Katier Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 should be doable - obviously need to work out the door ( opens outwards I'm guessing ) and whether you need lift out or duck under to get in. Katier Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I think the reccomendation would always to use insulation - I think more for your comfort as anything but you've also got scenery, wiring and the like to consider. jon_1066 Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I think you are going to struggle to get what you want (who doesn't!). A six coach 225 is going to be what .. just under 6 feet long? It has two through roads and two terminating platforms. The through roads then lead to your storage yard. The other direction gives some space for modelling before another scenic break into the yard area. The longest train is a six coach HST. You could also have four car DMUs into the terminus platforms at the station. It's 7' 6" square minimum 2nd radius all Peco streamline points. Katier Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Nice plan - I was thinking circular might be the key - so not far off my thoughts. 3ft radius (giving 6ft diameter) is fine in OO with sufficient tolerance for tighter on points. Could do the station on 1/3, fiddle yard on 1/3 and station throat on the remaining pairs of 1/6. I make 6ft diameter as 19ft run so you'd have 6ft for the platforms and station ( potentially longer if you widen the curve a bit. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
