The rear loco is 37672. It's livery is unique to that loco (shading missing around sub-sector logo, size of nameplate and crest...)

Cheers,

Phil.

I'm a little confused over 37012 "Loch Rannoch" and 37408 "Loch Rannoch". Namely were both used on the West Highland? Did 012 precede 408? Or where they in different places? Did BR have two Locomotives with the same name?

What's better than seeing a Class 37 on the mainline?

How about 3 of 'em forming a Class 37 Cavalcade?

The first Scarborough Spa Express of 2019, operated by West Coast Railways, ran on 20th June 2019.

In weather typical of June so far along the Calder Valley, WCRC 37676 'Loch Rannoch' and 37685 'Loch Arkaig' draw into Brighouse for the booked stop...

...and then after gently ticking over for a few minutes the pair make an enthusiastic departure.

A few views of 37057 and 37610 at various locations along the Calder Valley on 4th July 2019, working Network Rail infrastructure monitoring train 1Q68, 16.06 Neville Hill T&RSMD to Wigan North Western.

After reversal at Manchester Victoria with 37057 now leading and heading up the hill at Copley towards Halifax via Milner Royd and Dryclough Junctions.  This section of line generally only sees various flavours of Northern DMUs.   Locomotive workings are confined to Network Rail infrastructure workings, RHTT trips during the autumn and very occasional engineers' trains.
