MikeHemmings
If it was still open, and not a branch of Tesco, Towcester would be my local station. Alas it's now long gone, but I'm modelling it in my attic. This is my first real layout and I'm building it in 00. The layout is currently an L shape and the room is roughly 10' x 14'. All the buildings are scratch build and based on photos of those that existed at the real station. The tack plan is based on the LMS period and includes the turntable at the western end of the station. Here are a few photos giving a general overview of the layout as it was a few months back. More to follow! Edited November 22, 2018 by MikeHemmings
RMweb Premium newbryford Posted June 14, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 14, 2013 Don't know if you've spotted the more modern layout of Towcester. A "what if" had it remained open. Cheers, Mick

MikeHemmings
water tower know grey under coated, the b&w photo i have shows the tank to be lighter than the steel frame, so i think the tank was probably cream and the steel frame dark red.
