I can't offer anything rare unlike beast but how's this...

GBRf 66717 on the Crewe L&Nwr - Carlisle

This is OK rare as it was this particular beasts first visit to Warrington bank quay

Seems to be based on the WCML now as I saw it again L/E again today...

Anyway here it is on its first visit to Warrington BQ

I'm a shed fan myself (there goes what little respect as a railway enthusiast I have, along with my liking of all things virgin trains and I like pendolinos, and GMs, right there is every little bit of respect gone, carry on)

You never see 2 sheds the same. It may be different parts of the loco have different paint or a little flag (EWS) or wing mirrors, then the eurosheds... Lots of variation

First of all.

A view of a shed, taken from my shed. It was parked there for about 12 hours waiting to enter an engineering possession - thankfully it was shut down most of the time.

And now a couple that are no longer in these colours.

66843 has just been transferred to the GBRf fleet and renumbered 66744, but not yet repainted. IIRC, it was only like this for a few weeks.. Working 6J37 Carlisle-Chirk thro' Langho. Slightly blurry, but worth it for the record shot.

66841 showing the original style of "hat" logo applied to 66841-845 before they were moved on to GBRf. Also on 6J37, waiting at Whalley station for the section to clear to Daisyfield Jn.
