10.00am this morning sees 66737 'Lesia' with 6S45(SO) North Blyth - Fort William Alcan tanks, approaching Newsham where it will run around.

post-7898-0-92957700-1409419728_thumb.jpg

As the loco passed, I noticed the last two numbers - 37, being much larger than 667, very odd indeed!

15 minutes later, having completed the run around move, 66737 heads North.

Hello Folks,

Some photos of 66753 from this Saturday.

All its workings were double headed with the 66 at the front, I assume this was done as GM never considered fitting Vac braking to them.

The loco certainly proved popular as its services were always packed whilst I was there.

Regarding the soon to arrive 9 new locos at Newport Docls. How many can be towed in a single consist.....is there a limit.??

Without dispensation yes, but they may (probably will) get permission to tow them all as a single move.
