Not exactly a taxing load for a class 66.  Freightliner 66539 plus a solitary MJA (?) MWA* wagon rumbles passed Bradley Junction, Huddersfield with 6Z47, 15.22 Crewe Basford Hall to Leeds Balm Road, on 29th July 2018.

More likely to be a MWA unless you've got one of the first two MJAs that were built as single wagons with buffers each end.

Cheers

Diesel down the street...   66532 parked up in Dyce as part of the Aberdeen to Dyce redoubling project.    There are two trains on the project working out of Dyce Raith's Farm sidings, one of Salmons for new sleepers and one of auto-ballasters, both top-and-tailed by Freightliner 66s.

The regular aggregate workings along the Calder Valley destined for the unloading points around Manchester originate from Arcow Quarry, with traction provided by GBRf class 66s.

A 'short term plan' 6Z99 from Rylstone Quarry to Bredbury' popped up in the schedule for today however, booked for Freightliner.  Shanks Waste Solutions liveried 66522 was doing the honours, approaching Brighouse.

Similar 6Z97 workings are in the schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday so it will be interesting to see if either, both or neither of those run.

Popped across to Margam on Saturday morning after finishing my shift in the Abbey at 06.30am! 66509 was sitting on one of the roads. With another up by the Fueling Point, lined up with a number of 66's and 60's. It was still they're this morning. When I figure out how to post pictures from my phone. I will post them!
