That was cancelled according to RTT. I'm pretty sure this was the train:

1120 Llanwern Exchange Sdgs to Margam T.C.

6V05 passed at 14:02 running 39 early it wasn't cancelled assuming we are talking about 13 Oct

but

66079 was allox 6B27 which was cancelled so worked 6H24 as you say.

I checked 6V05 and then checked the wrong date for allocation, 079 worked 6V05 on 12/10

A couple from the past few days through Brighouse...

DB Cargo hurries through on 7th October 2021 with 6M16, 10.00 Tees New Yard to Knowsley Freight Terminal, empty binliner.

Looking very tidy, GB Railfreight 66777  'Annette' thunders through on 17th October with empty biomass hoppers working 6M51, 12.03 Doncaster Down Decoy Yard to Tuebrook Sidings.

@Rugd1022 When you arrive from the mainline do you discharge the train, run past the points, uncouple and run light back round the loop onto the rear of the train to depart back north?

Yes Jim that's the way we do it, dead simple, it's like a Hornby train set in 1:1 scale ;).

A little earlier at Westbury, DBS 66150 was pottering around too. Not sure what the bodyside lettering is all about though.

And a few hours later... (Technically the next day)

66150 6Z52 Westbury

Prepped and brake tested and waiting for the driver to take it away, 66150 with its 'We are the future' branding sits in Westbury with 6Z52 for Oxford Banbury Road. The wagons (VTG blue JNAs) had been loaded at Tytherington. The branding refers to the HVO fuel being used by DB as a replacement for diesel, this was the first loco to use HVO in the much publicised trials.

Thanks Jo. I saw it attached to those wagons later and wondered what it's next working would be. Any idea what the next working for 66021 was, which spent the afternoon shunting in the down yard? Also, is that another 66 in your photo, to the right of the train?

66021 stayed on pilot today I believe. We took it over the upside last night. 66187 is the other one, which worked in on the boxes from Tytherington.

Another dodgy phone pic.

Cemex liveried 66780 has been on the Tarmac jobs to Arcow and Rystone in the last couple of weeks.

I managed to catch it on 6M31 Hunslet-Arcow earlier today. More shorty HYAs in tow.

16/11/21 passing Settle.

6M39 to Radlett at Bedford North Junction yesterday morning....

IMG_1822.JPG.515936c5697e14d3129a2ce71160f2d4.JPG

A job which turned out to be a complete waste of time - someone (GBRf I think) had left a set of wagons at Radlett and not let on so I had to take the lot down to West Hampstead, run round it and take it back north sharpish. Still fully loaded at 2,339 tons it was a real slogathon going up Sharnbrook and Desborough banks on the way back!

First moving train on the S&C for 5 days.

66778 passes Settle at 10mph with a few wheelflats in tow. One bogie fully on skates.

10mph Blea Moor - Clitheroe Cement works. It stopped for about 15 minutes before moving off again.
