New Gee Bees arrive at Newport Thursday night - no movement from Newport arranged yet.

The ship, having moored in the Bristol Channel, is now heading for Newport apparently - expect GB quins sometime soon.

Latest update is that they will be unloading 8am Friday and there's a path in RTT from Newport Docks to Doncaster on Saturday http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/R03377/2014/07/12/advanced

That looks like a few Bachmann models in a box..........

I've seen a comment elsewhere about the obscured numbers, but interesting to note that the one at the back carries a nameplate

Cheers,

Mick

Seems a lot of room in there????? What do you reckon they are putting in the hold with them? A load of coal maybe? Edited by 250BOB

On the new batch of 66's, there are some very slight painting detail differences, some of the door handrails are all white while others have orange sections on them!

Can't believe I noticed that :O

Phil.

And on the secondman's side air vent has moved to the bottom of the cab side. Strange mod to make on a late build that isn't expected to lead to any more! It's been in the same position since 59001 so why change it now?

Edit, they also appear to have euro style cab interiors
