Freightliner 66528 'Madge Elliot MBE - Borders Railway Opening 2015' and 66551 on 6M25, 09.12 Hunslet Yard to Crewe Basford Hall, approaching Bradley Junction, Huddersfield with a motley collection of box, hoppers and container flat wagons. 6M25 and the corresponding return 6E53, 14.28 Crewe Basford Hall to Hunslet Yard, are regular Sunday only workings for wagon movements, presumably for repair. After running around in full and debranded DRS colours, the locos started to be repainted into the newer 'Powerhaul' style Freightliner livery. After Genesse & Wyoming took over, the remainder went into their Orange style livery. Initially the subclass was just 66951 & 66952, the first of the 'low emissions' Class 66 that eventually formed the bulk of the GBRf and DRS fleets. The external differences was a larger radiator, smaller fuel tank and a fifth door on one side.
