RMweb Premium Crepello Posted February 9, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 9, 2010 has anyone got any suggestions about how to fasten down the concrete sleeper track. the sleepers are too thin to nail through. I use Peco track pins to fix the track in position, using pliers to hold them. You can put small Evergreen strip pieces under the web to cant the track on curves; insert the pins on the outside part of the sleepers on curved sections; stand back and admire the trains leaning into the curve. The pins can be removed after painting and ballasting. John.
robgregson1
afer a trip to hattons on friday, i have started laying track in the off scene area. each of the four tracks divides into two at the back. the outside circuit has got peco curved points which work fine. the next circuit has got peco medium points. when going from the single line over the points the trailing bogie of the locos (Dapol 66 usually) try to follow the other track. any ideas.
