A little selection of 00 gauge buildings i’m developing as card kits. All totally scratchbuilt from photographs using photoshop. Been working on 7-8 items for a year now in my spare time. Feedback welcomed....

That's some of the best brickwork that I have seen.

Very slightly off topic.

I just thought that it was worth posting that Banburysaint has started a thread for Kit Bashing buildings.

I hope there are lots of people who post here who might be able to post something there, taking building kits and reworking them.

Another model of an actual building for my Kensington Olympia N gauge layout. This is 1 Addison Bridge Place. The real building is currently home to a footwear wholesaler and is next to the Hand and Flowers Pub ( which will be the third pub on the layout ). The part built photo shows where it lives on the layout.

I'm wondering if there should be a cold water tank on the roof?

It's been a few weeks since anyone added to this thread so here's a scratch-built N/2mm row of shops. It does need some details added and finishing. For example the main block is not fixed down in place, signage needs adding and the newsagents need internal details made and fitted.

Hi Gedward,

very well done with the building work, look forward to seeing more.

Peter

Many thanks Peter and Jamiel. Am planning on a few more buildings for this layout. All the usual suspects. Coal office with nameplate, goods lock up, a couple of corrugated lamp rooms, a line side hut, a tiny cafe/kiosk etc. But right now work is progressing on the signal box, based on the Williton one. After much thought I decided not to do an interior for a bunch of reasons. Might be something I'll  re-visit one day though.
