devonseasider
Sorry about that Graham and thanks for clearing that up, still didn't really know where Axminster was though! That's OK. Finding Axminster is the easy bit. Thorncombe's about another 15 minutes. Actually, it's not too far from Bufffers. Forgot to say, it's a lovely little layout, especially considering your age & the fact that it's your first. Hope that doesn't sound condescending - it isn't meant to.

Jock67B
Morning Will, As an old Scot (with the excuse of a sickness bug for a few days!), I'd like to wish you a very Happy New Year and look forward to your efforts in 2015! I've clicked follow so as I don't forget to look in from time to time! Kind regards, Jock.
HAL 'O THE WYND
Hi Will, I've just realised it is ages since I checked yours out. I was going to say that I wish I'd been as good as you are at your age, but i think I'd better amend that by saying, I wish I was as good as you are, now! Cheers, Hal
hornbyandbf3fan
Hi Hal No worries! And thank you very much, I'm still surprised the layout has turned out so well Thanks, Will

hornbyandbf3fan
As today was a surprisingly sunny day down here in not so sunny Cornwall and with nothing else to do, I decided to have a go at taking some photos in natural light. Unfortunately, in my room where my layout lives doesn't get direct sunlight at the moment so I took the layout outside, set it up and using a better camera then usual, I took some photos with some of my stock including my new diseasel and K3. Anyway, here's part 1, part 2 will be later today or tomorrow when I get round to resizing the rest of the photos

jcredfer
It would appear that the Cornish sunlight is good too. That looks for all the world like a Hot, Hazy, Summer Day ........... even 'though I know the temperature is no where in that range ..... even in Cornwall.

hornbyandbf3fan
Nothing actually new, but a well known youtuber (Keralis) who has 1.3 million subscribers and does gaming videos (and no I don't watch the minecraft ones before anyone asks) , mentioned in a video that he'd like to get into model railways. So I sent him an email with a few pictures attached and I didn't expect him to read it, never mind reply and repost the photos elsewhere, as well as mention it in his latest video. The gallery is linked below. Like I said, nothing actually new, but I thought it was pretty cool! http://imgur.com/gallery/XlX6U (the photos) https://www.youtube.com/user/Keralis Edited March 22, 2015 by hornbyandbf3fan
