MikeTrice
Steve is referring to this topic which reflects my preferred method and colours used: Steve, you certainly get some variation on the panel colours. Nelson Jackson
Hello all, I thought I would share my efforts at reproducing Teak/Mahogany using Mikes method. Im pleased to report everything went well and I'm very happy. Nonetheless with more practise I'm sure it's able to perfect the technique. Thank you for sharing the great guide, it only took me many years to actually get round to carrying it out. GNR(I) Y5 Passenger Van from Provincial Wagons. Available as a resin kit or Ready To Run (RTR). The kit is complete with metal buffer heads, metal wheels, tension lock couplings and transfers. RMweb Premium Sasquatch Posted November 25, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 25, 2020 Something a bit funky from me as usual. When I needed to polish the waiting room furniture for Queensbury only one finish came to mind and I've been itching to try Mikes teak method for quite some time. More here... RMweb Premium Sasquatch Posted February 9, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 9, 2021 (edited) @ Mike. Now I've started tearing models apart to refinish them.
