paulprice
I have a number of Pullman cars that I had acquired for an old layout to hang behind an SR Pacific, I'm feeling much better now but I have a silly question Did the LMS run any Pullman services

Buhar
At the grouping there was an existing contract between the Caley and the Pullman Car Co inherited by the LMS. On it's expiry at the end of 1933 the LMS acquired the carriages, painted them lake and used them as diners. I think they stayed on the Northern Division. Yes they did stay in the northern division into the BR era; see my father's article in Backtrack a few years back.
