1. Dover Priory, Kent.

Your work continues to get better and better, so superb. And I thought your Dover Priory was the pinnacle! Absolutely outstanding Dave.

Most importantly, this work must be kept in perpetuity, for generations to see. When you have had your fill, will Dover Museum take it, or maybe the new Ashford Model Railway theme park thingy, if it does all go ahead? Or will you keep it in the family?

Definitely worth watching full screen!

An awesome achievement - and funnily enough, tho I'm on the other side of the world, your layout has me so familiar with the area, that I immediately thought "the footbridge is missing!"

Well done dt.

Scott

Returning from a period away visiting my 92 years young mother in Newcastle upon Tyne..

Time for an update,

Had a catch up with Anthony556, he drove up from the Teeside, with a new item I had purchased from him.

A visit to Runsasrequired 's Knights Templar residence, tea and cakes, all round.

Droning on,

Going for a representation of Dover on a moonless night, mid-1942, dt?

Looks like you might have nailed it.

It will certainly keep the weeds down?

Seriously, it is a method well used in the theatre, to both draw attention to what is on stage, by avoiding distraction "off stage" and to reduce shadow from lighting features. It certainly draws your eye to the layout itself and not the walls and pipes etc so most excellent. Makes a refreshing change from sky blue. Another very good idea I might just have to pinch later.......
