When it's on the doorstep, like that  ..............

Hang on!

That 10 chain curve bit of your layout doesn't yet exist....   It's got to be Virtual Reality.

So who needs a REAL model anymore hmm?

(dh).Runs as Required, mentioned the 10 chain curve,a few posts back and the lack of

Modelling on it,over the past few years.

Well, I can inform him, that, reference points have been located.

A Bachmann sub station, being used only for reference.

A chimney, used for reference to the tower on Harbour Station.

A newly positioned telephone exchange that does not exist on the curve.

conversion,from a  BachmannTubostar 170. 3-set.

RM member Andrew F  took on the challenge for the major changes that were required.

and RM member  m.levin helped sorting decoders/electrics/transfers.

Andrew F, 2/3's of the way through, hated it, but at the end of the project, wanted to keep it.

This link is how it looked,      before conversion

Now to the photos' these were taken with my bridge camera, uploaded to my flickr account, then using Avairy edit, cropped only.

I do not use Photoshop,

That's absolutely true, Toddy doesn't use Photoshop.

As the background to photo #2 shews, he sends his stuff to his "Friends in the North" who use Photoshop to make a pigs ear out of it.

Regards

J

I like "insipid", especially, with a capital "s"

Looking very good ..dt.., but you've gotta stop posting pictures of the real thing and passing them off as your layout?? :jester: :)

LookS at home. I notice it'S on the outSide track; Surely it'll get round the inner loop.

Am just about to remove the last locating dowel for platform 1,

As you know, the gauging is, rather tight for some types of model.

Hence the near stoppage, at the end of the video.

This should give me,1/2mm more clearance.

But,

as Freebs,is working on the platform 1 upgrade,(at home,in the Midlands)

which he said, maybe Easter, depends,if he has been able to work in the fine tolerance I gave him.

Inside track Andrew,

Seems, as though, you put some Midlands Field Mice,in the axle boxes, I will return them, or you collect, when down next.

The stoppage/slow,is due to the 3rd rail,not being fixed down,but otherwise,excellent.

Needs more running in on my tight curves.
