The signal looks excellent, i'm not sure about the vintage lineside cabinet though!

Graham.

Thanks for post G.

The line side shed, was used by workmen erecting the signal,

The signal parts were obtained from Wizard Models £1 bin @ the Warley Exh.2014.

The workmen, now have to reconstruct the platform around the signal.

The gantry platform guardrail has to be put back, plus the access ladder.

Control lighting sequence also to complete.

Hi David, the backscene is looking very good, the perspective and transition from ground level up to the bridge, and then up to the castle are  excellent.  I saw Mr Portillo striding around your layout last night on T.V, or was it the real Dover Priory I couldn't tell the difference. All the best Adrian.

Thanks A.  I thought so, but, runsasrequired has said it is questionable.

Mr P. certainly likes to get around.

Shouldn't there be a bus on the bridge? (other rm threads, passim...) :)

Mal

Hello M. I have been looking for the past year, a local stagecoach or, National Express, there are no,Port Service bus.

Wilco

Erm....

But that castle bit is a HUGE folder. Will try to exhume the ones that were marginally less cr@p.

Thanks for the reply about the change being S end of the Scissors. So that means the old LC&D Harbour station is now 'wrang way roond' ! Strange things real railways.

dh

Thanks for the 9.7Mb file, now have the 2.3 file.

They certainly be cracking on notice some of the rock has been washed onto the beach ,will the footbriddge be rebuilt ?

It has been mooted about new bridge, but   ??.

Will be up there at 10 am-ish tmw.

................................    Oh wait!    ......................    it doesn't need repairing???   :scratchhead:  :scratchhead:

..........................................   You mean you didn't stand in the room and throw buckets of water at your line by Shakespeare Tunnel, to keep up with the full-size?   .......    :locomotive:  :locomotive:

I don't think you need to worry too much    .....

Oh well...If  Mr %£&^*&g Portillo, that nice Mr Westerham and you think that perspective works then who am I (the mere artist :butcher: ) to question it?

Anways did you make head or sense of those files I sent?

dh

The Nice Mr Portillo, often gets to put his own perspective on all sorts of things  ...    :O  :O

Dave,

Signals are looking very good.

You must see the latest Model Rail with a feature on building Shakespeare Cliff, not a patch on your effort.

Cheers.

Thanks for post Paul.

This is the model of Shakey Tunnel, built by runsasrequired, for the layout.

It is in the hands of my friends at Lcut Creative, having it laser cut.

Platform 3 is not a SPAD signal David, it's a 3-aspect* without the shroud. A SPAD signal would be blue and would need a conventional signal in front of it - the one which was SPADed.

* it could be a fixed red if departures wrong line through the tunnel aren't permitted or it could be a 2-aspect, R/Y - don't know the signalling in the area to be certain.
