brian daniels
Just noticed I should have screwed the body down as there is a bit of a gap with the bufferbeam, oops
43179
Will be interesting to see how many 4mm' modern image modellers cave in and buy one of these - I'm sure there must be a lot of enthusiasm for class 60s out there, helped along by the lovely Hornby Model. excellent choice of loco Brian - 001 'Steadfast' comes a close second I think overall though, you cant go wrong with any of the original class 60 names Jon
steve fay
Seven mill nameplates are doing quite a few of the plates for the 60 and should be available soon. Looks great Brian
Multiple identity account
Superb work Brian! I love it..... although I would have liked to see one in Loadhaul, Mainline, DB Schenker or Drax livery
brian daniels
Some more pictures of the 60 out in the elements just before another deluge. I do have another body but it has no grills for it. I might do this one loadhaul and hopefully get the bits from Heljan later to finish it off.

Thanks for posting the photos Brian, I cannot wait to get my hands on one. Don't have anywhere for it but hey! Triple grey definitely suited them best in my opinion.
Lochnagar
Very nice Brian. Safe to say I've ordered a triple grey one for starters! They'll benefit massively from Shawplan bodyside grilles as the factory ones are recessed. Unless Heljan are going to tweak it of course (understand this is a pre-production model). RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted February 6, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 6, 2014 I will be another 4mm modeller to buy one. Purely to sit on my shelf. Possibly 60081 GWR green or 60007 loadhaul would be my preferences.

BR_Blue_1986
Fantastic work as usual Brian, 3 are now on order. One to be sector coal, sector to be branded in Loadhaul and one Loadhaul livery! Will you be posting a video of her running on Youtube Brian? Edd
brian daniels
Took the 60 to my friends yesterday to give it a run with an MoD train and take a few pictures of it on the layout. I put it on the track with DCC in use so the lights would come on. I have a couple of clips of video to sort out next week. Packing it all away to take to Modelrail Scotland tomorrow. I will have my Heljan conversion/detailed models to show what can be done with Heljan models. Edited February 19, 2014 by brian daniels
Grimleygrid
Nice photos Brian. Have you got any HAAs? Or BAAs, or TEAs.....she would look superb on any of those. Thinking about it, your 098 would look great pulling anything!
