RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted September 23, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 23, 2013 Very workable. My only thoughts are that I cannot see the reason for the kick-back off the bottom siding leading to the left nor for the two which merge into what appears to be a headshunt top left of the station. I would probably think twice about having two facing points off the long siding leading to the yard. Instead I would have a single track diverging at one of those two points and the main part of the yard then diverging from that.
Rivercider
I'm guessing it is inspired by Ipswich, simplified since I was there in the 1980s? Presumably the headshunt at the top leads to the yard off scene? cheers

Interesting to me is that the whole lot fits perfectly into 24ft in 4mm :-) As far as I can tell the track plan is that introduced with the impending electrification in 1983/4. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=ipswich+suffolk&ll=52.050251,1.144155&spn=0.001917,0.005284&hnear=Ipswich,+Suffolk,+United+Kingdom&gl=uk&t=h&z=18 Andi
