I have clear memories of pink Brush Type 4s test-running on the Midland Mainline; apparently because the paintshop couldn't keep up with the rate of loco production!

As you probably know class 47’s were developed by Brush Traction using Brush electrical equipment,the sticker just says brush sulzer 50 years of service on it,I’ll try and zoom in on the sticker and post it.

The other possibility is rivets from attaching the single centre front OHL warning sign also found on early build locos.
