NXEA!
That would be 47746 David! Freshly outshopped from Carnforth and it's first passenger working since 2003!
RMweb Premium Gary H Posted October 27, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 27, 2013 (edited) That would be 47746 David! Freshly outshopped from Carnforth and it's first passenger working since 2003! Its great these old stalwarts are popping up again. Back in the day I used to loath them but I'd really like to travel behind one again now! Only problem being its nigh-on a day to get to any starting point from this end of the country. How time and "progress" changes your point of view! Edited October 27, 2013 by Gary H
scorpion
good to see 47s in daily use but what a dull and dismal livery, a nice blue with yellow ends would look so much better

RMweb Gold DaveF Posted October 27, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 27, 2013 I don't think we've had a blue one with arrows twice on each side, pre TOPS number of course. How time and "progress" changes your point of view! Indeed, hoping that 768/772 eventually come out of Carnforth. If it be some Duff action you're wanting, get your arse over to East Anglia, ad-hoc Duff's to Yarmouth/Lowestoft, or alternatively come here in the summer for the drags! 802 was on fine form last month.
