Andrew P
Wow Mark, that really is looking the Biz mate, I've never seen Guard Rails on Models before, and TBH never noticed them on any real pics of Viaducts either. Superb Greenery and Ballasting as well.

Hope this is of interest, even though it's a different railway from Buck's Lane.

RMweb Gold 5BarVT Posted October 14, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 14, 2019 Hi Mark, In your RM article you mention your control panels. A search on your thread hasn’t found any posts with photos: I’m particularly interested in your switches numbered as levers - do you have any photos? Thanks, Paul. mark axlecounter
Bucks lane has been out this weekend, to the Blackburn model rail show and it got the best signalling trophy. The crew was over the moon. Here we are at the end of the day 9
RMweb Gold 5BarVT Posted November 10, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 10, 2019 Well done. Can I add an award for best mind bending signalling too? Somewhat belatedly I want to say thanks for the photos of the ’box diagram’: Arranged for operating the layout from the rear (tick), switch/levers numbered as they would be in the box with 1 on the left (tick), but the box is the opposite way round (my brain hurts!). Must take a bit of getting used to. I do like your use of the same switch/lever for both ends of the siding run round loop. Simple but effective. Paul.
mark axlecounter
The run round are 10 a and 10 b it dose help the operators. the way the control panel sits works very well if I could I would of put the signal box on the up side not the down side as it sits now. we are already thinking of more signals for the layout and where to sit them.
Persephone
Good to see it out Mark. I was sizing it up for our show at Littleborough but I think it's a shade to big. Shame it's not EM gauge though, I'll get me coat :-)

A potential ‘reason’ for you: “some time ago, the box was relocked, and to get the new frame in before the old was decommissioned it was installed facing the back of the box”. To stick in the ‘ideas’ box and come back to when you’ve run out of other things to do (if ever!). Paul.
