superkev
Hi A first for me in that I am contemplating trying out constructing working inside motion on one or both of my latest projects which are a Chowbent 3F and a Lanky kits L and Y Class 25 0-6-0 No 957. Not too bothered about working eccentrics and valve gear but the inside cranks and slide bars are very visible. Anyone any thoughts/ suggestions. tips. The JLTRT looks god value at £65 then there's Laurie Griffins at £95. Anyone else? Thanks in advance Kev
RMweb Gold Donw Posted October 23, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 23, 2013 MArtin Finney does some but woebetide you if you suggest using on the wrong locos. I have some from Laurie which looks really good but have yet to fit it. The gear (working) on my Cambrian Beaconsfield came I think from Sans Pareii (Ian Young). Some locos definitely look bare without something between the frames 4-4-0 can be the worst. The trouble is once you have done one loco it shows up the others....
