Want an excuse to put an active level crossing underneath a road bridge? Check out this example on the Bordebahn line near Cologne! The bridge is obviously a new road bridge and the LC is for a minor road.

Closer to home, Denaby S Yorks, although it's not quite under the bridge:

I remember there being a picture which I think got posted to this site some years ago showing a Hawksworth vehicle at Kyle of Lochalsh.

Again I can't remember where I saw it, but a SR PMV at Wick...

The way the images have been joined together in the Denaby photo makes it look like a prototype for the tracklaying on my first train set.

Oops stencil back to front

I assume some with stencil and spray paint or brush.

When I worked for the Council we had to do them for pick up and pay up dog fouling signs for dogs that can read. They sent us out with spray paint that made more mess and cost more.than a load of cheap brushes and a tin of white emulsion. The spray paint didn't last but trust me trying to shift white emulsion off a street it sticks like sh#t to a proverbial blanket.

Didn't know they habitually stood on their heads .................................. isn't it the Aussies who are upside down ?

Arabs read text right to left , which is correct for that sign if you stood on the platform, and the come to think of it..

While Arabic is written right to left, it isn't usually written mirror imaged back to front!

Maybe they employed Michaelangelo  Leanardo da Vinci to do it?

EDIT

Brain said one thing, fingers typed something else!

To (mis?)quote Ian Dury, "...he didn't paint the Mona Lisa, that was some Italian geezer"

Class 111 - Rolls Royce engined Met-Cam unit, mechanically very similar to the 110 in the foreground.
