Trev52A
Concerned that the buffers on your models don't all line up? Don't worry, it was the same (at least in steam days) on the big railway - Carnforth shed in 1968 (that's 92118 on the right) Trevor

eastwestdivide
It was meant to be a sign to the nearest international airport, but it was specified over a crackly phone line, and the sign department order taker was also moonlighting in one of those Aussie pubs, so it was misunderstood. . . . . . . . "We need a sign for Rhoose" "OK, no worries mate"

Satan's Goldfish
I did add this elsewhere but think it probably needs to be here too; Want to justify 2 large scissor crossings, a double slip, and as much track as possible on your shunting plank?...
Talltim
Glad this thread isn’t just UK as it means I can post this (would also fit in a large locos on short trains thread) 6600hp for one coach

There's no double slip, possibly only a diamond (at least it looks like that on a bigger image) Or it could be a single slip https://goo.gl/maps/GGaJy4NGq4fozELg6 Edited September 3, 2020 by melmerby

If it's a diamond then it would be very interesting to operate, single slip for the bottom 2 tracks possibly...

A lower single slip would give the access/flexibility required, I think the upper slip connection would be superfluous. Nice find. Definitely suitable for a model. 1

But going on the dimension of the bogie tankers in view (approx. 15m long?), it would be more than 300m. That said, using Peco points or similar would save on length.
