Probably easier than finding a 00 GPWhatsit.

In another thread this link to YouTube shows at 2:50 an ECML combination at Peterborough  I don’t remember seeing. A Class 91 with pan up on the front and a class 43 power car on the back and also powered up. How common was it?

Hallo,

From 5m03 a 91 blunt end forward coupled to the DVT. I think this channel shows quite a few 91+MK3 workings

Looks like an early SD70 rather than a Geep.

When you see a class 66 and a US loco of the same scale together they really are amazingly different. The US locos are so much taller and the 66 so much longer.

It's a SD75, according to this:

https://www.thedieselshop.us/CN.HTML

The 66s are shorter in length as well as narrower and less high

A SD75 is around 72' 4" and a Cl 66 is 70' 3"

Even the engine in the 66 is shorter.:D

Both have EMD 710s but the SD75 is 16 cylinder and the Class 66 is 12 cylinder.

I remember having a run behind 45107 out of Paignton in May 1987 and it had the unofficial nameplates marked out and painted red like this but they hadn’t had a chance to do the lettering before it was sent out. Nice memories.
