Super D
Does anyone know of a manufacturor of real scale oil lamps? I have seen many examples at shows and in the magazines but they either look like dustbins, or at best waste paper bins, in size relative to the model steam engine. I have some Springside examples but they are in the waste paper bin category.

RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted November 12, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 12, 2013 I'm not sure whether you are after loco lamps or station lamps. Either way, DCC concepts is worth a look! Station Lamps: http://www.dccconcepts.com/index_files/DCCmasterscenelamps.htm Loco lamps: http://www.dccconcepts.com/index_files/DCC_loco_lamps.htm Both types of lamp are currently available through Gaugemaster. Hope that helps!
1949bob
Hi Super D, I use Kenline lamps (LNER in my case). They are very neat and do not attempt a handle (Which I guess would be hair thin in 4mm). Sadly they are no longer produced, but they do pop up on eBay from time to time. Big Bill
Wow! Great Topic. I have some lamps that must be Kenline. I always wondered who had made them. The Springside one are Ok if you remove the handle and substitute fine wire.
