enginelane
EWS gold paint has arrived. Does anyone know if the red EWS on the real clas 66s is completely covered over with paint - or can the old EWS lettering show through as a shadow as in the models?
Steadfast
None of the ones I've seen have any sign of the EWS showing through. There's a clear joint where only the top level of the gold band has been repainted. It's only the centre part of the body that's been repainted, the area around the numbers is noticeably duller as it's not been touched. https://www.flickr.com/photos/90265707@N03/30241873542/in/photolist-N5nvoN-Ncybdd-QBTkof-MUpSHB-McYupF-MfigYW-LcN3az-RDVvnH-RqCjTf-MhBsyA-M16TbP-M5aSfU-LqPkzK-LU43MA-LtUj7J-PwrS1k-HRQmis-HNfkgo-HLJHMG-J5ohwj-JbdNqB-JhPifF-HLxKeg-HAMsf5-Hry9kS-HhnyF1-LBthww-Lp2NiQ-LE1BKD-KZSTdj-LbmLGy-KTTAxD-LmFvXN-KJhP9J-JG2pZf-J9yw5G-J9yvGY-NdzoV6-HCR3QN-HewxLc-Hewz28-HTrK4C-GYBBez-HSvNB6-HPv2hs-HLckzi-HHMtAQ-QvGKMx-PpMsFq-PpMrUf Jo

enginelane
Managed to pick up a Cambrian BAA kit to convert into a BCA coil wagon with cradles. Have the Genesis cradles built. Main changes are to the floor and come across a version that has triangular supports at the ends of the cradles with an Andy Jupe image.
