Really enjoyed watching and chatting on Saturday.  Gets the feel for RTC brilliantly.

Here's a sketch of the new layout at Way & Works with the new crossover (red) allowing wrong road moves out of the station.

(That'll be fun to manage off stage!)

Paul.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the compliments.

I guess you were the signalling guy trying to locate Trent House...…

If so, a quick question - do you know what type the signals TD5044/5046 are?

Any chance of a picture of a similar type?

I do have a couple of "emergency" crossovers that are manually operated and normally only used for moving stock from the inside to outside loops and back when we want to shuffle around the trains. I could use one of them to allow use of the red route...…..

Cheers,

Mick

That’s me.

‘Fraid I wasn’t involved with the construction of the Derby project so I can’t help with what the signals look like.

I've been informed today that there may be a very special visiting (non-yellow) loco making a guest appearance on DL this coming weekend...…...

Wheel cleaning continues...……...

No idea, but that would be good !!

With a slight bend to 'rule 1', if a RHTT set is available I could bring the Orange 20's, to replicate what has just gone past my house !

Cheers,

Phil.

There'll be a standby DRS 20 on the RTC too, 20303 (which IRL is currently at Crewe but will make the journey across to York at some point to relieve the orange pair). I’ve also got 37716 which is currently doing the Carlisle-based Tyne Valley route jets.

My guess is a 66.

RHTT is to be given a final test today with TnT 66s...

There was an issue with a drooping coupling on the first run.

Kadees on your 20s and should be good to go.

Cheers,

Mick

The RHTT test via another route than DL was successful.

A couple of days in and they've already replaced the locos with clean ones..............

Hello

Very nice Mick, cracking modelling as usual. There may be a special new loco  arriving on Fenchurch St Peter on Saturday, look out for it. See you tomorrow.

Had a great day today: no real technical problems and (for once) very few train crashes operator-related issues too! I'll take more photos (not mostly of my stock either...) tomorrow as my camera batteries were both dead...

There was a guest appearance from Yorkshire too...in more ways than one! The York-based RHTT came past courtesy of Phil...

Thanks to Mick and team for letting me loose once again...I was suffering withdrawal symptoms after the summer break so it's good to be back. Roll on day two! :)
