My favourite and in my opinion the best that was there. Superb attention to detail on both layout and stock. So many layouts are let down by the traction but yours was absolutely fantastic. St. Simon Posted June 6, 2018 Share Posted June 6, 2018 Hi, It's a shame I couldn't get work to book me a ticket up north earlier on Sunday otherwise I would of stopped at Burton to have a look at the model Deadmans Lane. But then again, I've been looking at the real one all week: (I'm doing some training with Signet in one of the former RTC buildings) It's a great looking layout Mick, I hope to see it soon, it does look like the real place! I'm trying to limit it to 3-4 shows per year - if only so that I don't have to ask for too many extra days off to make up 3-day weekend......... Popular Post Jack374 Posted November 11, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted November 11, 2018 An excellent weekend was had by all of the DL team, and once again I'd like to thank Mick and co for inviting me back to play trains operate. The layout ran remarkably well, with only a few meltdowns due to there being too many locos (and sounds) running, and due to shorts caused by operators lacking concentration...we were all guilty from time to time! A few photos taken during the weekend, with plain blue 08892 on short-term lease courtesy of Jack374 Rail Solutions Ltd. : It was nice to catch up with some RMwebbers, some of which I'd never met (I wish this was still the case ), as well as some good friends who aren't on the forum. Some people really do take the p!ss though...if you ever see Bradford Buffer at the helm of a train, especially in the Derby area, be sure to wave........ Roll on the next outing of DL!
