Unlikely that I'll make it to Derby, despite the proximity.

Well, despite what I said earlier (see above) I did manage to get a visit in this morning.

Each time I passed by, Mick, you looked to be very busy so I didn't want to distract you with the aforementioned cross Pennine banter.

DL is packed away after a foray to a few hundred yards from the prototype inspiration.

Thanks to the Mickelover group for the invite.

Thanks to Graham, Andy and Spike for helping out over the show and a double Ta to Spike for the extra hours he put in over the last couple of weeks or so to get it to a presentable state.

Nothing major in the way of running issues apart from a closed up rail joint confusing the DCC circuit breakers. Easily sorted out with a file/mini drill.

Plenty of little jobs to get on with before a second visit to the East Midlands in 4 weeks time to the DEMU Showcase event at Burton on Trent.

Hopefully a few photos from the Derby show will appear in the next day or two.

Cheers,

Mick

Hi Mick,

Layout looks superb, couldn't make it down to Derby unfortunately but I hope to see DL on the circuit at some point!

It's out again in less than 4 weeks to the DEMU Showcase at Burton on Trent.

It expires in a few weeks - got to make the most of it! Sorry I missed you at Derby - catch up at Showcase?

Hi Mick

Having watched both videos. The layout does indeed look excellent. There's a great variety of stock. Especially liked the mixed rake behind the two sixty sixes.

Hopefully I'll see it at Glasgow sometime. Or if we win the lottery maybe at Ayr.

Regards

Stephen

Mick now the layout is attending shows and gets move visibility I am sure you will receive plenty of invites

There are others TBC, but I don't want to go to too many per year to prevent over exposure.

I also work quite a few weekends, so getting time off is always a push.

Cheers,

Mick
