I usually go by bus to Bournemouth and on to Romsey by train. Peter, who owns the O gauge model of Eldons' Sidings, comes to the Isle of Purbeck Model Railway Group meetings where we are building an 0 gauge model of the Swanage Branch from Swanage to Wareham. I live in Swanage, which is twinned with Rudesheim, where Rheingauz is based and the owner of the Tarrant Valley layout is in the Wimborne Railway Society. I am looking forward to seeing these layouts again.

I have made a few additions to the list of exhibitors, and have found my sketch map:

Regular readers of my annual missives will notice that the Romsey Signal Box project has been removed from the map this year. This is because of major works being carried out by their volunteers, which makes it unavailable for the usual public visiting days. For further information and to check the progress of their works, have a look at their web site here.

Good show again :) Wolf Creek was a super compact layout and tempted to ask how much but resisted as my modular US one is started.

Small but with a good variety and some very good layouts.

A footnote for the exhibition.......

I would like to extend my thanks to all the exhibitors and visitors who came to our show over the weekend, and made it a good time for most - hopefully all - who were there.

Many thanks too, to the club members who stayed behind and helped to make the chair stacking, table folding and general clearing up just that little bit less onerous.

EDIT - and of course special thanks to our Exhibition Manager who spends months and months putting the show together.

Glad it went well, I wasn't able to come today due to somebody's homework issues and Saturday wasn't convenient either. Any photos of what I missed?

Pete

Just for now, here is a picture of Wolf Creek - I'll make more available within the next few days.
