coachmann
A really good layout and these pictures shows views that are that bit different. The coping stones on the station roof are far more detailed than I realised and the containers carry very effective weathering. Newhey was similar to Shaw, and looking at the white ballast, I wonder if Andy C was representing newly ballasted track or the effects of acid rain. I knew this line quite well and although it was not Lanky-Yorky at its grimmest, it was characterised by almost black soil that seemed to resent anything growing in it apart from hardy grass and weeds. RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted November 17, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 17, 2014 Excellent layout Andy. I first saw it some years ago (at Stockport IIRC?) and it was shaping up into a classic must-see. Hope to see something of your new stuff on the circuit in the future.
