Steve Taylor
Hopefully I should get over on Saturday AM - our own works show is on that weekend elsewhere so sunday is sadly a no-no. Now to mentally work on the shopping list (and hope that the fates don't put the house move that weekend).

Tell me about it ! At least the organisers will be grateful for not having to spend the week before the show in a state of stress and panic wondering about how many visitors we will be down ! Having said that, it WAS Mothering Sunday last year, but the number of visitors actually increased ! Looking forward to seeing lots of RM Webbers at the show. Galtee More
Yes, a bit of a breakdown in communications, but a quick call to disco-dave and two "passes signed" and we're all set Trouble is I've got to do Warwick on my own, unless someone wants to volunteer to help operate? Summat Coliery will indeed be at this year's NOTTINGHAM East Midlands EXHIBITION and that's now confirmed. The organisers were wondering why Ian M hadn't sent his forms back and Ian was wondering why he hadn't been invited ! Still, all is sorted now. RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted January 31, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 31, 2010 Glad it's all turned out okay. I've certainly taken a good lesson from this, over the weekend i've contacted all my exhibitors who have not returned their forms or emailed me just to make sure they are on board for Mansfield 2010. Remember, you can't rely on the Royal Mail Can't wait, all those traders and a two day show, now, what's going to be new on Summat for Nottingham? RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted February 1, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 1, 2010 I know you're busy Ian, but a list of exhibitors would be nice, if only so I know who I'm going to bump into
RANGERS
Am I missing something, or is there no list of layouts on the website?
Troublesome Trucks
No Rangers it isn't just you, I looked last night for a listing of layouts and I couldn't see anything either.

No Rangers it isn't just you, I looked last night for a listing of layouts and I couldn't see anything either. Wow ! Keen people. Don't Panic ! Don't panic Mr Mainwaring, it's not 'til March ! We're a bit short staffed on our Exhibition Team at present and this means we're running a little behind schedule. The website will be amended and fully updated as we have the information to hand and the minutes to do it in. We thought it best to have an exhibition and a not-fully updated website rather than the other way round. Fret not, though, it'll be done soon; demonstrations and societies will be next to be uploaded.
great central
I see that a layout section has now been added to the website, must have missed that happening 'cos the main page says last updated 26th January. Not knowing much anything about websites, doesn't it do this automatically? Edited to add link: http://www.nottingham-modelrailway.org.uk/exhiblayouts.htm

Not knowing much anything about websites, doesn't it do this automatically? Edited to add link: http://www.nottingha...xhiblayouts.htm"> As Great Central points out, there is now a webpage for the layouts at this year's NOTTINGHAM East Midlands EXHIBITION. We've done this in something of a hurry, to satisfy the obvious 'hunger for knowledge', so it's not as 'pretty' as usual. We'll keep updating the various pages as the information (or our mistakes !) come to hand. In addition to the new Layouts Page, there are also new Demonstrations and Societies Pages. If you have any queries or need to know more, please don't hesitate to post here.
hellfire60
This show is one of the best i've been to, went last year on both days (as its on my doorstep) just for the hell of it. The variety of gauge and standed of layouts was 1st Class, (i.e dcc, OO/HO and N, both steam and modern stuff) and i picked up some great bargins from the traders. well worth a visit.
