robertcwp
Railway Observer March 1968 has a photo of the RCTS Three Spires tour of 25/11/67 formed of a Met-Cam unit - at least the motor brake second is GFYE. Numbers were M50314, M59125 and M50332.
'CHARD
That sounds like a Tyseley unit Robert! I've seen photos of that tour poking its snout into various yards, I think, but I've never checked the GFYE nature of it. Time to look again...

Somehow - GFYE just doesn't look right on these units. Edited March 11, 2014 by leopardml2341
leopardml2341
Slightly off topic - but it seems like M50314 was destined always to be a 'late developer' seen here:- http://www.flickr.com/photos/28966354@N00/10309491806 in allover blue when it's unit mates are in 'toothpaste' livery. Swindon 123
Here it is, in glorious colour.................. http://www.rcts.org.uk/features/mysteryphotos/show.htm?img=RE00851C&serial=984&page=61 Note that the far driving car is in BFYE livery Brian R The unit was comprised of M50314, M59125, M50332. M50332 was the blue driving car and had wrap round BFYE so an even more interesting combination. Another shot from the other end showing M50332. http://www.rcts.org.uk/features/mysteryphotos/show.htm?img=RE00849C&serial=4 Paul J.
