Excellent little show and thanks to Ian for the invite.

Layout ran well and was appreciated. Good to meet up with fellow RMWwebber and fine music fan, Jamiell too!

Look out for next year's exhibition, 3rd September.

Just spent a useful couple of hours fettling the layout ready for the Ebor Exhibition on 20th and 21st February. It was those little irritating things that go with wear and tear and hadn't got round to before, like soldering dodgy rail connectors an giving the track a good clean and Hoover.

Glad I did them now and not at the last minute!

Spent an hour or so fettling the layout this pm to the sound of Split by The Groundhogs on the ghetto blaster.

Bit more greenery added (it grows you know), cleaned the track and did some test running. This showed up a disconnected wire on the sector plate, which was quickly sorted.

Must get a proper nameplate sorted before it's next show, which is Mansfield on the first weekend in March.

Courtesy of that splendid chap Tim Horn and his laser cutting machine, the layout now has proper name board.  Very impressed with the quality and would happily recommend his work to anyone.

Had the pleasure of attending the Caistor show this afternoon and very impressed and in particular with your layout Steve. Never seen it before but there is something that just makes it work so well with quality modelling that brought me back three or four times. Many thanks for exhibiting it, certainly provided me with some ideas.
