Telegraph poles

This is my first atempt at building the Masokits telegraph poles, I think I need to tidy up the insulators.

 

The pole shold be like the photo below although looking at it some insulators seem to be missing from the bottom arms, I may just have to snip them off.

.....and is there a link to the catalogue... I tried Google, but that seems to keep going to S4 Stores where Telegraph Poles are not list.

 

Edit (at 10mins past noon) - OK found it now via Norgroves web site, comes under Other 4mm Components, item 8.07, 6GBP's for a fret.

I sprayed the post with Pheonix Weathered wood but any dark brown/black/grey should be fine. the insulators are slid on wire once the post is dry.

David, reading the Masokits 8.07 kit parts list.... it states 0.45mm brass rod is required. Where is that used, please - it's not the upright centres to the insulators, is it?

 

If so, I might as well stay with making my own (based on the MRJ 43, article by Paul Karau) as per this below

 

Mind you, those steps look very nice etches

Yes it is the centre of the insulators
