Last/first/only 50 on the Waverley....?

 

First and only photographed working (so far) over the line, yes.  Although 12 were recorded in total.

 

Good shout - treat yourself to a kipper!

It must have been a big job to convince the owners to paint it blue. A truly Herculean task?

It would have looked better with headcode panels &

pre tops numbers & no nameplate.

in my opinion ?.

Not noticed this thread before...I'm glad I have done so now though....

 

Thanks to all those who have, and no doubt will do agin, stuck up the lvoely pictures of one of my favourite locomotive classes :)

Oh yes Mickey, you and I both!! Some of the best hours of my life have been spent window hanging 50's. :sungum:
