Frank Ewen

I have sadly received the news that Frank Ewen, passed away this morning. He was not a member of RMWeb but was a long time friend of Brian Harrap, Railwayrod and myself. We all got to know each other some 40-odd years ago when we were all members of the South Devon Model Railway Society in it's very early days. We all dropped out of the SDMRS after a few years but remained friends ever since. Frank modelled Continental H0 for many years and when Brian started experimenting with P87 Frank also started to build a layout to the same standards before abandoning H0 and turning to 7mm scale. He was a member of the ScaleSeven Group from it's beginning and provided a wheel-turning service to other members for some years. Unfortunately, various health problems have rather curtailed his modelling activities in recent years.
