Suggestions for the group

This group will only be as successful, or active, as its members want it to be.

 

Let's have a brainstorm thread and come up with some things that, as a group, we might like to do - then we can start separate threads for popular items and see if we can get things arranged.

I'm really impressed with the way you've set this area working, I hope people do show an interest and support it. In other areas I know folk get together for pub evenings and certainly informal groups gather together to visit shows or events or even put an event on such as SWAG.

I seem to recall there were occasional SAG get-togethers in a hostelry close to London Bridge. Don't know whether this is something that could be considered?

I know a colleague at work who works on the Spa Valley preserved railway at Tunbridge Wells.

 

Next time I see him I'll see if they do behind the scenes visits.
