paulbb
Many thanks for that info Nick ; enjoyed all the photos too. I agree with your comments about liveries for the ME's. Who stocks the MCK model of the ME's then?

Some loco & filling stock projects and some on the layout infrastructure. One of the more random things I’m doing is a wagon that was converted from a Gs van to move Nohab engines from Central Workshops to Godsbanegade loco depot Doctor Quinn, hope all well with you...just a quick post to see if you have any news or photos for Industrivej or DK rolling stock? .....Med venlig hilsen, Grizz

I managed to find a Bachmann SD40-2 chassis at the Nottingham show which kick-started my long-term MZ IV project. The body is a Tikob Hobbtresin casting that I bought on my first trip to Copenhagen I also progressed a few new wagon projects which I’ll post separately so it’s not too much at once Edited May 26, 2023 by doctor quinn
doctor quinn
Another catch up from the work bench, first up a pair of Ucs silo wagons, DSB acquired 12 from NS in 1989. Mine are built from old Roco kits and need decals yet: Further progress on the MZ IV, lettered, weathered and with wore handrails fitted. I stripped and cleaned the mechanism and it now runs so well I think a sound chip may be in order. (The original Bachmann board has gone into a B&M GP38-2) Edited April 3, 2021 by doctor quinn 6
doctor quinn
Another project I recently completed was a DSB Gods MAN delivery truck, it’s Herpa repainted with Skilteskoven and Microscale decals Edited May 26, 2023 by doctor quinn Re-add photos 4
Grizz
Midjylland MY ‘Victoria’ clags out the yard on start up at Fredericia depot in August 2019. Very grateful to my friend for a great day. Much as I like the livery on this classic Nohab loco, I think I still prefer the Black with Red cabs. Sadly we haven’t been to back to DK since 2019, miss the family loads. RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted August 8, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2021 Flot arbejde . Is that the whole layout done, or did you mean the loco? In any case, congratulations, I've enjoyed watching this develop over the years.

In any case, congratulations, I've enjoyed watching this develop over the years. Thanks for the translation and the kind words, I’m glad you like the layout. I just meant the loco as I bought the body so long ago and there have been so many detours along the way. The layout probably is fairly complete but I keep adding bits. I keep building and acquiring wagons and locos too.

Two more Hbis slide side vans from Lima with details and Skilteskoven decals And a workshop wagon/ generator wagon set from Lima and Rivarossi Gs vans. The brake platforms are by Freja model and custom decals by Precision Labels Finally, an on-track plant carrier, this one is “based on a true story” as the prototypes seem to be Gs vans with the body removed but this is on a shorter Roco lowside chassis that I acquired in a job lot. Industrivej is at the Ruddington show on 9th & 10th July - see you there?
Grizz
Thought I’d post this photo of MZ 1453-6 at Skørping on Thursday. Return working from Aalborg Østhavn. One solitary ‘Habbins’ wagon and 11 ‘FACS’ bogie ballast hoppers heading south around 17:15ish. So great to still see an MZ…although shame that it is not in DSB Red and Black. Next time I’m home I plan to drop up to Aalborg Østhavn to take some photos of the complex….future modelling…maybe.

MY28 on Fredericia shed, clags out the yard. Some wagons at Arhus and Fredericia. The yard at Fredericia has a mixture of very fine aggregate and sand, with a mixture of concrete and wood sleepers. With a dumped IC4 at Fredericia. Edited March 4, 2023 by Grizz
RayF
Are you able to post some recent shots of the layout? Most of your earlier ones don't seem accessible anymore. I have some photo's I took at a show back in 2017 but would love to see how it is now. I really like your weathered wagons too! doctor quinn
Thanks for asking, I'm a little remiss about photographing my own layout but I'll see what I can do.
doctor quinn
A few months back I posted an in progress picture of an on-track plant carrier which I've now finished. The decals are mainly my own design printed by Precision Labels. The load is a Durango press spike puller which is a really nice kit to build. 2
