This is always a very nice, friendly show. Come and say hello to us on Highbury, Tom E (Ropley) of this parish is helping me out on Saturday.

Sadly the weather doesn't look particularly conducive to garden running but would be nice if the forecasters have it wrong.

Good small show though the phone struggled with the back light so I apologise for the quality of the photos.

We had a great and thoroughly enjoyable time this weekend with Fisherton Sarum at this very friendly show with the emphasis on promoting and showcasing railway modelling. It had an amazing layout to trader ratio of 15 layouts to 3 traders (and one of the three traders was the groups own members second hand sales stand!) .

Was nice to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones too and a chance for a chat with both Jerry (Queenquare) and Tom (TomE) of this parish.

Many thanks to David and his team at the Salisbury and South Wilts railway Group for the organisation and welcome we were given. I can wholeheartedly recommend this show.

I can only agree with everything Muz has said, a cracking show - many thanks to the organising team and Tom E for helping out. The catering crew were particularly impressive with bespoke  sandwich orders being taken in the morning and delivered at lunchtime, accompanied by home made cakes.

In addition to the exhibits in the hall another member had his garden railway open a short walk away access to which was included with your entry ticket. This stayed open for an hour or so after the show closed on Sunday so, following a pretty smart breakdown, Kim and I were able to go and have a play with a bit of live steam.
