Hi Gibbo

Well that is the other problem, with the good weather all sorts of things grow on the ranch many which Mrs M says the 'orses don't like so as much as my mojo has packed in I still have to do my duties which has a big negative effect on me doing anything with the toy trains.

Ha ! Ha ! This is a ranch.

No, the mojo appears to have packed up totally. Waiting for it to come back.

I walk into the trains set room and see all the mess and stuff that needs doing and walk out again. Mrs M will not be happy with me sharing photos of piles of rubbish.

It's never stopped you in the past!!

I have had the reverse issue, whilst at home the mojo had gone hasta la vista, but since I've been incarcerated over here, a few tools bought and some Parkside kits thrown together has re-ignited my flame.

Well that makes me want to start Cossacks dancing shame the arthritic knees and fluid retention won't let me.  I'm 43 and dropping apart mentally and physically. I suffer from major departures of mojo too Clive and you have my greatest sympathies. It will return im sure

Hi folks,

This thread has gone very, very, weird.  First it's themes from cowboy shows I haven't seen since the 70s; then it ends up with Russian folk songs ..... what next?  At least we had some soothing prog in the middle.

Actually, the Russian bit was quite good.

Keep going .....

Regards,

Alex.

PS.  Actually, now that I think about it, the strangeness is one of the good things about this thread.

Hi Alex,

As weird goes this is great:

I feel that Seneca's quote is most apt here: "Nemo potest personam diu ferre fictam."

It's all that Mike Mortimer's fault... everything was fine until he showed up.

I say Fritters, only Mike Mortimer's fault ?

I feel that some of the blame I ought to be apportioned to me also.

There are others that should own up to their nonsense, they know who they are.

you are innocent of blame in my book gibbo, because you at least put undercoat on your models lol.

Then again, if mike did paint them, we would be without the multi coloured swap shop effect. This tread without the colour effect of his cut and shuts would not be the same.

These two young ladies sum up how I feel today

Clive (/ Mike),

I have a class 126 TC needing flashglazing cutting out and fitting, mentally I can't move on to something else until I've done it, but equally I can't face "getting on with it" currently, so I can sympathise with you, and the views of those young ladies.

Hi Clive and Martyn,

First, thanks for introducing us to those two young Canadians, and their music.  They've got some good stuff out there on the interweb thingy.

As for the sentiments of both song and comment I think you may be in plentiful company ....

Regards,

Alex.

Yo Gibbo

No one is to blame for anything , Ok we accept that Enterprising Mike has to take some responsibility but his error in life happened well before this thread was started.

Anyhow I am sure these young ladies would be able to heal me and stop the monster catching me.

I am allowed to say bad things about Bachmann stuff?

As it is a DMU.

The new Pressed Steel ones.

I don't like the glazing, the recessing bit looks odd.

I don't like the drivers hand rail, too thick.

What do the regulars think?

Is it wrong I prefer the look of Laserglazed Limas?

Hi Martin,

A Laserglazed Lima requires other and extra efforts to make them look good, Bachmann are just taken out of the box.

Where is the fun in that?

Gibbo.
