Tallpaul69
Hi Clive, Gibbo and the rest... I hope you will excuse my putting up something on this thread which is neither a girl band, a cut and shut, or an unpainted coach? It is in fact an end to end 2000s ish, fully scenic layout which will I will be taking delivery of in about a week! OK , I know its not 1950/60s, I know I have been planning a continuous run layout, but it is BUILT. More than can be said for my continuous run, whose builders can't start it cos they are waiting on Peco for points, not only for my layout, but also for the two layouts that are in their workshop queued in front of mine! Overall view from one end of the Layout Closeup from the end where the fidle sidings will join on Closeup of one loco shed and the fuel tanks Close up of the junction in the middle of the scenic section, I hope this wets your appetites? More (if you don't ban me) to follow! Best regards Paul

RMweb Premium MJI Posted January 16, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 16, 2021 Some progress The two GWR designed carriages are coming along well, have some suface filling on one end so will use car filler. Will look nice behind my NBL Type 2. DMUs Drawn up Swindon cross country 3 car set but may need to modify the centre as possibly an error. Will then start on internal sides for 120 then a WR InterCity set of similar to class 126. Just got to find a suitable roof for the Swindon stuff so I can copy and resin cast a big pile.

But it's called the Warburton bridge and is the cut through to Lymm from the A57 between Irlam and Warrington.
RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted January 17, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted January 17, 2021 I got caught with no money ready at Dunham Bridge, the white van behind me was happy as I fumbled for change. The best use to be the tolls at the Dartford Crossing, there were some "express tolls" where you threw your money into a net and it was counted by a machine and through you went. Well you had to be pretty fast getting back into your car after picking up the coins which missed the net or the barrier went down again. So a friend of my friend found out. 2
simontaylor484
On the couple of occasions i have used Dunham bridge i thought the cost of employing the collectors would outstrip the amount of tolls taken
