You had me confused, there is another toll bridge off the a57 near to a place also called Dunham which costs 12p per transmit or 25p per day.  But it's called the Warburton bridge and is the cut through to Lymm from the A57 between Irlam and Warrington.

Hi Woodenhead,

Its a school day for both of us there !

Now found neatest results are 3 on depth, 5 on speed, 4 on cuts and 33 on force.

Going to leave the inside until 20 thou arrives and will scratch and snap.

From out to in

10 thou

>> may put 10 though with big holes here<<

profilers

20 thou

20 thou

Anyone good ideas for Swindon roofs?

Hi Northmoor,

It was 20p last time I went down that road and I didn't realise and had no change, only my cash card. I was waved through which was good of them.

Gibbo.

Works every time, eh?

Enough of the p taking about Lincolnshire, I would like to join in but I remembered I live here.

I have been making a mess with some plastic card, hopefully tomorrow I will have some photos for you to see.

Hi Clive

What do you mean making a mess with plasticard ? You live in Lincolnshire, how much a flat surface do you need to work on ?

Hi Clive, Gibbo and the rest...

I hope you will excuse my putting up something on this thread which is neither a girl band,  a cut and shut, or an unpainted coach?

It is in fact an end to end 2000s ish, fully scenic layout which will I will be taking delivery of in about a week!

OK , I know its not 1950/60s, I know I have been planning a continuous run layout, but it is BUILT. More than can be said for my continuous run, whose builders can't start it cos they are waiting on Peco for points, not only for my layout, but also for the two layouts that are in their workshop queued in front of mine!

Close up of the junction in the middle of the scenic section,

I hope this wets your appetites?

More (if you don't ban me) to follow!

Best regards

Paul

Next time I am allowed into Bedfordshire to visit my family I will add a couple more hours to pop over and have a play if that is OK?

Hi Clive,

Be glad to see you, give me a shout a couple of days before?

Where do your relatives hang out?

Cheers

Paul

They live in Bedford.

That is another telling off by my sister-in-law, she is a native of Kempston and that is where my brother and her live.

Hi Clive,

Do you buy plasticard in 8' X 4' sheets or just a huge stack of A4 sheets ?

I've painted my coach:

Don't worry I have four more different ones that will not get painted yet because I don't have any suitable shades of blue.

Hi Clive,

I forgot to ask how do you arrange the connections for the articulated bogie ?

Gibbo.

A "D" shaped protrusion with a hole, one high on one coach and one lower one on the other. A standard Hornby bogie clip thingy going through both holes. Nothing complicated, I am involved I will take a photo tomorrow. CBA tonight.

Too busy listening to a collection of 60's girl garage bands. Lovely.
