This is better....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3ov9USxVxY  Full Volume with Phones.

One of two Madge albums I have, the other being "Music", both produced by William Orbit.  Worth searching out for his own music, particularly the "Strange Cargo" albums.

oh good grief, now Rick Astley?  I don't care what instrument you play it on, it still makes me want to punch the wall.

more perkiness

Oi Doc

You are only jealous of Mr Astley.

I still hate John Gordon Sinclair as he got to snog Clare.

Ooh! The erstwhile potential Mrs St Enodoc (trouble was, she didn't know...).

OK, here are the shots. I apologise if my photography's a bit dodgy.
When Mike origionally built them, they were fitted with the GEM Flexispring bogies for the outer bogies. Over the years, these 'things' got worse and worse. Mike rebuilt them for me, with Bachmann LMS bogies.
If I'm building LMS stock, they are , now , my go to bogies. I'm happy with them.
The last shot is a Tony Hammond LMS lounge brake. Mike built this from a set of etches purchased at Bristol Mod Ex.
It runs in my Manchester Executive train . This runs round the Manchester Loop carrying business people from Manchester Olham Road.
At least, in my mind it does.
Regards, Clive.
Chris.

None of my lady friends at art school in the 1980s did...

I expect if you went back in todays woke gender self identity   times you would find that some of the girls don’t, some of the blokes do and the gender- neutrals concoct something on a 3-D printer in the spirit of non compliant independence. :scratchhead:

Chopping up a hatchette coach needs to be a required entry into modelling. I have surprised myself with how this has turned out. Still needs a bit of touching up.

I have learnt tonight of the passing of Russ Saxon, Sacko.

Russ was always very helpful when I had a livery enquiry regarding diesels of the 60s and 70s his knowledge was wonderful. His articles and books on the same subject are very informative.

Russ was also a great advocate of live music, despite not making it big in the music business he entertained many people in his band Sack Sabbath.

RIP Sacko, my friend.
