What a great idea!!!!

Don't set me off, I've got a 14' x 2' section of the garage I'm yet to fill, and I've had all sorts of thoughts about some compact layout with handbuilt track, etc!!!!!!!

Will follow this and try to resist!!!!

Talking of Ballast................... :O

Why  not try a little experiment............. :scared:

Last year, Lofty sr. taught me a way to do my ballast. yes every one has there own way of doing it,just think out of the box a bit more.

Buy a pack of Fine 00, buy a pack of Medium "n. gauge"

Buy, not soley Grey bog standard, add a colour of your choice, but do not over do it.

Take small quanties,ix/skake in a plastic container, until it blend's to your taste.

To mine,I also added, Red Brick modelling Dust.............
