I look forward to seeing you all as I usually man the Middleton stand on the Sunday.

Steam both days as it coincides with Halloween! It's about 30 minutes cross town if you want to combined model and real train's!

Changes in layouts for the show. Due to our baseboard builder being incapacitated due to house repairs etc we can't make it with Chapel this year but it will be there next year semi - complete!

Leeds show is one of the most under rated shows in Yorkshire, I have been going for 25 years + and it is always enjoyable, good selection of general trade and the layouts are normally very good.  For some reason no one shouts about it,

WELL I AM !

We always have a layout which children can operate. To make it more interesting this year we have moved on from our "train set on a board" to a Trakmat on a board - albeit an old Hornby  trakmat.

Hopefully the wiring will be a lot tidier at the show. The intention is to show people how to add more to a basic train set to something with a bit more operational interest.

And the children can have a drive!

See it in the foyer at this year's show.

It would appear that we are no longer allowed to put up our own road signs.. they now have to be polycarbonate and put up by a third party .. many  thanks to the local council! for supporting shows in the city.

So to get to the Show by car you need to aim for the Harrogate Road (A61) - the Grammar school is north of the outer ring road - more details soon!

Worth pointing out that the 36 bus does pass the school gates as stated in the promotions for the show but does not stop unless the driver is being very kind, anyone using the bus to get there needs to get off at the stop before Alwoodley Gates traffic lights.

Yes, thank you for that.

While that is the case the 36 is the only public transport to get to the Grammar School from the City Centre.
